UPDATE(JAN 30th 2008): There is LOT of snow on troodos, to the extent that the sun-facing side of troodos (towards limassol) is full of snow. It is even visible from Limassol. Btw, it also snowed in limassol, something of a rarity!

and it is almost two months early! What’s happening to the earth? Europe is getting flooded like crazy, with Cyprus recording the second wettest winter since 1901 and winter has just started!
Well, its good news for adventure enthusiasts and photographers. The wetter the better, for people who have an affinity for mountain biking or dune buggy driving. Cyprus really shows her best in winter and spring. Snow brings out the best of the mountains and I am looking forward to lot of snow this winter, so that i can do more of the snow treks rather than only the Kalidonia Falls trek which i do every winter. Below are some photos in Troodos over the weekend!
